What does Opting In mean for Consumer Accounts?

Opting in gives you flexibility with your personal accounts. Instead of automatically denying one-time debit card and ATM transactions that may overdraw your account, Citizens Alliance Bank will consider them for payment.

By opting in:

  • ATM transactions that would overdraw your account may be authorized.
  • Balance inquiries will not include the overdraft limit.
  • Debit card transactions that would overdraw your account may be authorized.

Please note that normal overdraft/NSF fees apply if a transaction creates an overdraft when it posts to your account.

What does Opting Out mean for Consumer Accounts? 

Should you choose to opt out, Citizens Alliance Bank will not authorize ATM or debit card transactions that would overdraw your account. This provides a more conservative approach to managing your account.

By opting out:

  • Debit card transactions that would overdraw your account will not be authorized.

Visa® Access Cards

The Convenient Visa® Access Card is a reloadable card designed for travel money for adults and teens, and college student spending.

  • Load the card at any Citizens Alliance Bank location or transfer from your bank account up to $5,000.00 per month. Load via direct deposit up to the maximum card balance of $10,000.00.
  • The card can be used wherever Visa® Debit Cards are accepted.
  • Withdraw up to $500.00 a day in cash at ATM machines that carry the Cirrus or Pulse acceptance marks. Read the Cardholder Agreement sent with the card to understand any fees that may apply. The owner of the ATM machine may also charge a fee and that will be disclosed on the screen during the transaction.
  • By visiting www.convenientcards.com, cardholders can pay all their bills in one spot.
  • Set up text and email alerts to notify you when transaction parameters are met and when the card balance is low.
  • Purchase Fee: $5.00.
  • Reload Fee: $4.95.
